Job Responsibilities

As a labor market secretary, you will work to develop an active labor market plan together with individuals aimed at employment and/or education and self-sufficiency. You will help individuals set goals for their own support through personalized planning. You will guide and coordinate efforts that should be systematically followed up to help individuals achieve their goals. You will also lead and participate in group activities.

Your daily tasks will be carried out in close collaboration with other actors, including the Employment Service, other authorities, and the business community. Since much of the work is collaborative, it is essential that you are good at teamwork and believe in its benefits.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social sciences and/or behavioral sciences and a strong interest in labor market and education issues. You should have good experience in labor market work and be accustomed to organizing your work independently. You should also have extensive experience in guiding and coaching job seekers towards self-sufficiency. The work requires you to believe that high expectations lead to high performance, that setting demands is a positive thing, and that you believe in individuals' willingness and ability to make their own choices.

Your ability to communicate is your most important work tool, and we would like you to have experience in both individual conversations and leading group activities. Some of your tasks may be conducted via digital communication, so digital skills are an advantage. You also need to be goal-oriented and accustomed to delivering results while working at a fast pace.

As the organization is constantly changing, the work requires you to be flexible, creative, and capable of making independent decisions. The work also requires good knowledge of the regional labor market.

We use the operational system Lifecare, and experience with this system is considered an advantage.
